"Opening the Common Gate" is a half hour documentary addressing issues such as boundaries of exclusion, citizenship, social change and daily life faced by indigenous peoples in the West Kimberley in the sixties leading up to the 1967 Indigenous Citizenship Referendum. It is a feature program for NAIDOC 2007.
